COMMAND PERFORMANCE
Archer Hudson is a world-renowned pianist with a reputation for being aloof and unsociable.
Only his manager and his childhood friend know the real reason Archer is rarely seen offstage.
The virtuoso not only suffers from a terrible stammer, but also Tourette’s syndrome which was unknown in the 1800’s and treated like insanity.
After a concert, Victoria Hesselbeck slips into Archer’s dressing room with seduction on her mind and bitter envy in her heart.
Archer quickly becomes obsessed with the beautiful, older woman. After his first sexual experience, he will do anything to please her.
Victoria invites her infatuated sexual protégé for an extended stay at her mansion where Archer becomes the genius at her command. Her temperamental and unpredictable behavior causes Archer’s symptoms to worsen.
Victoria’s maid, Torry Newhouse, risks her job and her life to keep the man she secretly loves from falling prey to the devious plot her unstable employer has for him.

Reviews for Command Performance:
By Garrett Buhl Robinson Format: Paperback. This book had me from the beginning. The dinner party in the 3rd chapter was an outrageous delight. As the story ensued, my stomach was in knots as I watched the hapless musical virtuoso teeter along the thread of a spider's web while his friends helplessly tried to wave him to safety. The suspense continued as he slowly spiraled down to the center where the black widow was preening and polishing her fangs while treacherously pulling the strings on the web.
By Kathleen Format: Kindle Edition. I bought Command Performance when it first came out, but didn't get the chance to read it until now. I wish I wouldn't have waited. I truly enjoyed this book. Kristine is an excellent writer and once again, she writes another winner! She really brings the characters to life and really makes you either really dislike or feel for them. Just when you think you have a character figured out, there is another twist in the story. I read this late into the night because I wanted to see how it turned out. I can't wait for the next book! Bravo! Keep them coming.
By Petfauna Format: Kindle Edition. I started reading and found I could not put the Kindle down! Fast paced. Plot twists you do not see coming!
Read and enjoy,as I have.
BySR on Format: Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase Kristine Goodfellow has done it again! She has written another book that completely grabbed my attention with all the twists and turns the story line takes. What I really liked is that I did not see a few of them coming! Her characters are varied and well written. She did a marvelous job with making me love or hate the characters. You really pull for one character , while you would like to personally throttle another! My Mom came to visit and could not put the book down, even the grandkids wanting her attention. She burnt the midnight oil to finish it before she left. I look forward to her next novel! Bravo Ms Goodfellow!
ByMKRABQ on Format: Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase I always enjoy reading Kristine Goodfellow's books. As usual, I could not put this one down. The author has an amazing ability to describe each scene in incredible detail, allowing the reader to practically go back in time to "see" the story play out. I ran the gamut of emotions while reading Command Performance, and I love when that happens! Excellent story.
I am recommending this book to all my friends!
